The President of PROUD and MEP Slavi Binev was invited to give a formal speech at an international conference on human rights. Binev's invitation to take part in the conference key logically active his actions in recent months in defense of freedom of speech and the rights of many public figures who are under political pressure from the government because of their opposing views.

The Bulgarian MEP Slavi Binev was an official guest of the international conference on human rights organized by one of the largest non-governmental organizations defending democracy - "One Free World International". The conference, which was held in Canada from 2nd to 4th November this year was devoted to human rights, freedom of religion and minority rights in the world.

Slavi Binev said that the Day of the Enlighteners like in the times of Ottoman rule, Bulgaria needs to be awaken from outside because home media are useless.
MEP Slavi Binev was invited by One Free World International, one of the largest non-governmental organizations dealing with human rights protection around the world to take part in the conference they organized in Toronto.
