18/10/2007 Binev: The first item in my program is anybody who lies to be punished “The first item in my program is anybody who lies or has lied to be punished" said before journalists the candidate-mayor of Sofia from Ataka Slavi Binev.
He came before the closed children’s attraction Sofia Land and defined it as one of the many monuments of the lie.
“Not only no new children’s playgrounds are opened but even the existing ones which are insufficient are closed” commented Binev.
He indicated that this territory was expected to turn into a housing complex as well as the territory of the former swimming pool “Maria Luisa”.
The stumbling stone of the solutions of the problems of Sofia is the mayor Boyko Borisov” said Binev.
According to his words the problem must be healed, not the consequences. Slavi Binev quoted promises given by Boyko Borisov at the local elections in 2005 among which the promise that he was not going to create a party, he was going to handle the problem with the homeless dogs, that he would render an account of his activities every six months, that he would decrease the traffic jams in Sofia, that he would reform the municipal administration.
“Borisov has promised development of the education in Sofia, whatever this means” said Binev.
“I am embarrassed by the teachers among which there are integrated people, explaining that this is the problem of the state only”, commented the candidate mayor.
“There is no doubt that the state has not done its job but the truth is that there is another subject - the mayor of the municipality, because at his proposal the Municipal council had to vote for additional payment for these people, i.e., the mayor had to take part in the solution of this problem, not in its suppression”, said Binev.
