He was born in Dimitrovgrad. Graduated tech school at industrial chemistry and he worked as a chemist in DRM “Marbas” and at the chemical combine “Stalin” in Dimitrovfrad. Since 1960, is a student in chemistry at VHTI - Sofia, and in a month is transferred to the Chemical Faculty of Sofia University. While studying he worked in "Universiade" DIP "Zlatarov, CS of BSFS. At the time of completion he was interned in Sofia and did not employ the specialty this is why he started to work as a gardener, carpenter and builder, to feed his family. Later stars work on specialty at pharmaceutical plants in Dupnitza and Sofia. P. Binev was always interested and demonstrating irregular approach for finding new solutions I suggestions for improving procedures. He is author of inventions and innovations. Was implemented the invention "Method for obtaining antipyrine". Together with prof. Al. Assenov and prof. G. Peev from department “Processes and Apparatuses” at VHTI is author of

Guests of Binev Sr. were all luminaries of the Bulgarian science and chemistry. The club “Timeless chemists” honored him with the Jubilee Medal, awarded personally by his boss Prof. Dobri Lazarov, and from the chairman of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria Prof. Venko Beshkov the
