Ataka MEP Slavi Binev interrupted his summer holiday to commemorate the birthday of his father.
On the Holy Christian Assumption holiday one of the most famous chemists in the country Pencho Binev gathered relatives and friends under in the cool shades of one of the capital’s open air restaurants to treat for his 75-year anniversary.
His son Slavi Binev came on the holiday with his wife Maria and two ofhis children. "If with Pencho Binev of science you shall speak– ennui will be far of thee!" With these words birthday colleagues described him what a person he is.
Besides that Binev greeted his father, he thanked him for the strength and courage, which he inherited from his parent. From Pencho Binev Slavi received also a dose of useful madness. "Madness is precisely the driving force that helps you go forward in life" explained Binev Jr.
The club “Timeless chemists” honored Pencho Binev with Jubilee Medal, awarded him personally by the President Dobri Lazarov.

Luminaries in the chemical sciences prepared a holiday for the jubilee hero Pencho Binev, who greeted his 75th anniversary in a surprisingly serene form. "If with Pencho Binev of science you shall speak– ennui will be far of thee! The science in your head - he’ll knock into a cocked hat" - with these words Prof. Dr. Nicholas Petsev greeted the jubilee hero. Anniversary celebration was on the peak of the Holy Christian Assumption holiday. Guests of Binev in the cool shades of one of the capital’s open air restaurants were all luminaries of the Bulgarian chemical science. Prof. Dobri Lazarov handed birthday Jubilee Medal and from the President of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria Prof. Venko Beshkov the scientist received award for contribution to new directions in the development of natural sciences.
The jubilee hero’s son - MEP Slavi Binev, also honored the anniversary of his father. He came accompanied by his wife Maria and Luben Dilov Jr. Binev greeted his father and thanked him for his inheritance which he received from him. For strength and courage, enabling him to face difficulties as well as dose madness that has each scientist and which is transmitted to him because "madness is precisely the driving force that helps you go forward in life".
