For the one more year the MEP Slavi Binev was among the official guests of the National Prayer Breakfast of Obama in Washington. During his stay he met with members of Congress, senators, ambassadors of countries all around the world, and businessmen. There had been discussed the political and economic situation in the EU and particularly in Bulgaria. Binev opened the topic about the approaching ratification of the ACTA, and he firmly expressed his position that he does not support it.
According to him, if the Government of Bulgaria ratified the ACTA it will lock one of the few remaining freedoms of the Bulgarians.

Slavi Binev took part in the last for this year Prayer Breakfast in Brussels. The event was hosted by the Ambassador of Zimbabwe in the country Mrs. Inonge Mbikusiyta Levanika and gathered authorities from the European Parliament and world politics, who are members of the prayer breakfast.
After the breakfast, Binev flew to Bulgaria where together with his family; he will celebrate the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
